Dyes is dissolved in the solution and is present by molecular state, its coloring is chemical reaction, molecules is combined with colored materials. The most common dyes coloring is sweater coloring.

Actually saying, water based pigment paste and water based color concentrates are no difference, they are all water based coloring material. The particles of super concentrated water based pigment paste is vey small, particle size is about only 5μ, it is about one-fifteenth of the finest flour particles that we can see everyday in our lives. The smallest particles of flour about 80μ. So the user is difficult to distinguish that water based pigment paste is present in particle form or dissolved state, only the professionals can distinguish them.

But still some difference between water based pigment paste and water-based color concentrates, it may be difference on dyeing method. Water-based pigment paste is made by pigment powder, and water based color concentrates is made by dyes.
